Well, we made it! Festival of Quilts is over and we had a great time, I’m still in the UK for the next few weeks, catching up with friends and doing a little teaching. The whole DesignMatters team was on the stand at one point or another during the 4 day show - it was so good to catch up with everyone!
It was great to see so many students at the show, thanks for stopping by and saying hello! The quilts were amazing this year , there were loads of entries, and of course the traders were very tempting! It is such a treat to wander the aisles and look at all the colours and textures - and that’s just the shopping area!

Not only did I have a chance to visit with students, my cousin and his wife dropped by for a visit- even though Birmingham is a very long way from his home. Thanks Jay and Maggie it was good to see you both.
